Uploaded Images. When you use the converter or upscaler, your images are temporarily uploaded to our servers for processing. Files are automatically deleted within 1 hour of upload.

IP Address. We log IP addresses solely for rate limiting and abuse prevention. These logs are not linked to your uploads and are rotated regularly.

Device Information. We collect a device fingerprint (based on browser and device characteristics) solely for rate limiting and abuse prevention. This information is not used to identify you personally or track your activity across other websites.

Contact Form Data. If you use the contact form, we collect the name, email address, and message you provide. This data is used only to respond to your inquiry.

Your uploaded images are processed to generate the requested output (SVG conversion or image upscaling) and for no other purpose. We do not use your images for training, analytics, or any form of profiling.

We do not sell, share, or distribute your personal data to third parties. There are no ads on this site.

We use a self-hosted, privacy-focused analytics tool to collect anonymous page view statistics (pages visited, referrer, browser type, country). This data is aggregated and cannot be used to identify individual visitors. No cookies are used for analytics.

We also use a self-hosted error monitoring service to detect and fix technical issues. When an error occurs, technical context (browser, operating system, error details) may be collected to help diagnose the problem. This data is not linked to your identity or uploads.

Uploaded images and processed results are automatically deleted within 1 hour of upload. We do not maintain long-term storage of user files.

Contact form submissions are retained only as long as necessary to respond to your inquiry.

Analytics data is retained in aggregated, anonymous form. Error logs are retained for up to 90 days to allow for issue resolution.

SVGSnap does not use tracking cookies or third-party cookies. Any cookies used are strictly functional (e.g., locale preference) and are not used to track visitors.

All image processing happens on our own servers. Your files are not sent to external APIs or third-party services. File storage uses a self-hosted S3-compatible object store. Analytics and error monitoring are also self-hosted — no data is shared with third parties.

Depending on your location, you may have rights regarding your personal data under applicable privacy laws (such as the GDPR or CCPA), including the right to:
